City of Monroe opens Warming Station amid cold temperatures

(Monroe, LA) - The City of Monroe will open a Warming Station at the Liller Marbles Community Center, located at 2950 Renwick Street.

The station will operate from 5 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026 until 12 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

The facility is equipped with cots, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and water to provide a safe and comfortable place for anyone seeking relief from the cold.

Please note that the Warming Station is not equipped to accommodate individuals with special medical needs or pets. Visitors must be ambulatory and able to care for themselves.
