MONROE, La. The University of Louisiana Monroe Student Creative Agency invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to celebrate the Lunar New Year Year of the Horse on Tuesday, February 10, from 3:00pm to 5:30pm at The HUB, located in front of Starbucks near the main entrance.
The Lunar New Year Celebration will feature a variety of interactive and cultural experiences designed to educate, engage, and bring the campus community together. Activities will include a Lunar New Year Photo Booth, food tastings, writing Chinese characters, Asian art display, Celebration craft-making, and much more.
This event is hosted in collaboration with the School of Visual & Performing Arts and community partners, including Paris Banh Mi, Panda Express and Texas Roadhouse
The celebration is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to stop by, participate in activities, and experience the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year.
