MONROE, La. – Twin City BMX will welcome riders from across the state for the Louisiana State Games BMX competition on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway in Monroe.

Sign-ups will take place from 5:00 – 5:30 p.m., with races beginning immediately afterward. The track is located behind the Monroe Civic Center. Spectators can attend free of charge, while the entry fee for racers is $15.

“The Louisiana State Games BMX is a key component of the annual amateur sporting events held across Louisiana,” said Scott Bruscato, Executive Vice President of Discover Monroe-West Monroe. “As part of the National Congress of State Games, medalists here can advance to compete at the State Games of America next July in State College, Pennsylvania.”

Twin City BMX regularly hosts local races on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, drawing racers and families from across the region. Each year, its State Qualifier and Gold Cup Qualifier Races attract hundreds of participants nationwide.

“BMX is a family-oriented sport where no one sits the bench,” said Natalie Harper, Track Operator for Twin City BMX. “We’re excited to welcome riders and families to Monroe for a great weekend of racing and community fun. We’re grateful for the support from Monroe and West Monroe leaders who help us keep BMX growing.”

The Louisiana State Games BMX event is expected to generate an estimated $86,918 in economic impact for Ouachita Parish.
