The system track takes it through north Louisiana and south Arkansas.The system is currently moving north-northwest and is forecast to bring tropical storm conditions, heavy rainfall, and storm surge to the northern Gulf Coast of Mexico, southern Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
