Red, White & Blue Airshow returns with military aircraft and daredevil acts

The Red, White & Blue Airshow is back at the Monroe Regional Airport May 3-5. The show benefits the Chennault Foundation and Southern Heritage Air Foundation.

This year's lineup includes the U.S.A.F. F-16 Viper Team, Charlotte's Chariot P-51 Mustang, Titan Aerobatic Team, Ghostwriter, and more. The international show will showcase the Royal Canadian Airforce C-140 and U.S. Coast Guard aircraft. There will also be numerous other acts and static displays including SRC Airshows, Frank Kimmel Corsair, Eric Hollingsworth TCraft, Phillip Steinbach Gamebird, Franklin's Flying Circus, ReMax Skydiving Team, Jerry Kirby T28, Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation. Helicopter and airplane rides will be available and numerous vendors will be on hand.

Friday and Saturday Twilight show gates open at 3:00PM. Static displays, vendors and exhibits will open at 3:00 PM

Sunday show gates open at 11:00AM. Static displays, vendors and exhibits will open at 11:00 AM.

Show starts approximately 90-120 minutes after the gate opens. This is subject to change for many reasons. The show will end at approximately 9:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and approximately 5:00 PM on Sunday.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
