Krewe de Riviere rolls Saturday in the Twin Cities

The Twin-Cities Krewe de Riviere will let the good time roll on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The Mardi Gras parade will wind through Monroe and West Monroe beginning at West Monroe High School and ending at the Monroe Rivermarket.

The krewe will also host a pet parade, artist and vendors at the Rivermarket from 2 p.m. until the parade arrives.

Heather Moore, Co-Founder of Krewe de Riviere joined Cory Crowe on Lagniappe to talk about the festivities.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
