ULM and TRIO celebrate National First-Generation College Day between Sub and Sandel Hall Thursday, November 16 from 9a.m. to 12p.m. There will be refreshments, t-shirts and free refreshments.

Each November, colleges and universities across the country celebrate the Annual National First-Generation College Day. This day recognizes first-generation college students and graduates across the country. A first-generation college student is one whose parent or legal guardian has not completed a bachelor's degree, thus making them the first in their family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university.
