The City of West Monroe has announced that Kiroli Park will open to the public at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The park has been closed since this summer while a new Kiroli Road Bridge was installed.
The park will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. Regular park hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the recent time change. Admission is $1 per person. Kiroli Park will be open 7 days a week.
During the park’s closure, Parks and Recreation employees were hard at work making improvements to Kiroli Park including painting shelters and equipment and other needed repairs.
Park staff have also been preparing for Christmas at Kiroli, the drive-through holiday lights display. The drive-through lights display officially opens to the public on Friday, Nov. 24 through December 25. A media preview and Christmas Brass Concert in the Park will be held at Kiroli Park on Monday, November 20 at 5:30 p.m. This is a free concert to the public, and no admission will be charged after 5p.m. More information about Christmas at Kiroli events can be found at www.christmasatkiroli.com
