The City of West Monroe will continue its “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” speaker series on Tuesday, September 26 at 8 a.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center. The featured speaker will be Matt Dickerson of Pulpmill Services, Inc. Dickerson is also an active member of NELA MAC, Northeast Louisiana Manufacturing Alliance and Consortium. Dickerson will be speaking about workforce needs and issues in Northeast Louisiana.

This speaker series is part of the city’s “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” campaign which was launched in 2021 as a way to activate the community with ways that individuals, businesses and organizations can personally elevate West Monroe. The series will continue on Thursday, October 26. “I encourage all people to attend this informative series,” said West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell. “Each speaker will present ways that all of us can work together to make West Monroe an even better place to work and raise our families. Whether you are a resident, business owner, student or concerned citizen, make the time to attend this series and be part of the positive momentum in our community.”

These events are all free to the public. A light breakfast will be served. Breakfast will be provided by Hamilton House Inn, JobSquad Staffing Solutions and State Senator Stewart Cathey.
