Worry spread around the campus of University of Louisiana Monroe as a high speed chase took place yesterday afternoon at around 1:30 pm. The chase began at Sterlington Road then continued on through campus to Desiard Street where the suspect was finally stopped.
The chase started with the suspect allegedly stealing a vehicle and trying to escape when the Sterlington Police quickly responded to the on going crime.
The name of the suspect has not been released as the case is still under investigation.
