September marks the return of the Brown Bag Concert Series hosted by the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce.

The concerts feature local musicians and bands in a lunchtime performance at the Pavilion on 7th Square in West Monroe.  "We have a couple of new groups and a couple familiar names this month," says Chamber President Courtney Hornsby.

On September 2, Early Ray and Josh are featured.  Other dates include: Sept. 9, Roses & Revolvers; Sept 16, String Theory; and Sept. 23 Bradley Bridges.  All concerts are from 12 p.m.-1 p.m.

A special Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival preview concert is on Friday, October 2.   "Emerald Accent, an Irish band, are going to perform and gives us a taste of what Celtic Fest offers our area," said Hornsby.

All concerts are free and open to the public.
