Louise Bond leans on 30 years of experience in the Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court office.
Bond, who was elected to office in 2012, says electronic filing has created greater efficiency in the office. "You have to stay on top of technology, and I feel our office has been able to do that," she said.
Cross-training has also taken place in the last couple years within the clerk's office. Bond says the training allows employees to understand various duties within the department. She notes the training is ideal to keep up with work tasks when someone is away for illness or vacation.
