The investigation into a reported residential burglary on October 25, 2018 in the 100 block of Forest Oaks in Monroe has led to the arrest of a suspect by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators.
Derrick Harvey, age 22 of Monroe, has been arrested and booked in OCC on 1 count of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling. Harvey is accused of forcing entry into the residence and taking several items, including electronics, televisions, a cell phone and a shotgun. Some of the stolen items were found in his possession at the time of his arrest. The investigation is continuing.
