LSU teacher investigated after allegedly leaving profane voicemail to state senator

The State Police is currently investigating a case involving a teacher at LSU who left a voicemail filled with profanity for a state senator. The senator had voted to override the veto of a ban on transgender care for minors.

The University has removed Marcus Venable, a graduate student who teaches, from his position. In the voicemail, Venable expressed his eagerness to see Senator Mike Fesi's name in the obituaries.
