John Ira Easton is a suspect in the robbery of the Woodforest National Bank and Origin Bank. A warrant for his arrest was issued yesterday afternoon after numerous people identified him from a surveillance video.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Glenn Springfield says Easton was arrested overnight in Shreveport. He faces first degree robbery charges and is currently being held in Shreveport. His bond was set at $50,000.
