ULM Women's Symposium offers encouragement for girls and women

Lagniappe: ULM Women's Symposium

As part of ULM's celebration of Woman's History Month, the Women's Symposium discusses issues women face every day: networking, inclusion, leadership, professionalism, and financial growth.

The event will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 12pm-4:30pm. Networking Social to immediately follow (4:30-6:30) at the Bayou Pointe Event Center, 100 Warhawk Way, Monroe, LA 71209

Tickets are free for students, $25 for ULM faculty and staff, and $40 for the community. more information is available at ulm.edu.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
