Lagniappe: Ouachita River Blues Society

The Ouachita River Blues Society is passionate about promoting the blues genre and keeping its rich history in North Louisiana alive. The new group hosts events and concerts throughout the year, bringing together blues musicians and enthusiasts from all walks of life.

The new society hopes to send a local musician or group to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. The yearly gathering showcases the best blues acts in the world.
