ULM College of Pharmacy Poor Man's Run Benefits St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy

The fourth annual Poor Man's Run and first Jambalaya for a Cause, held by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, is Saturday, April 24.

The event includes a one mile Fun Run and a 5K race.  Registration is open for teams to compete in the Jambalaya cookoff. Individuals can buy tickets to taste the teams' entries. The Fun Run starts at 8 a.m., the 5K race begins at 8:30 a.m., and Jambalaya will be served beginning at 11 a.m. 

The event will follow COVID-19 rules as described in the ULM College of Pharmacy COVID-19 Playbook.

Proceeds from the event go to St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy, a charitable pharmacy that fills life-saving medications for the un- or under-insured.
