For Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service donate items or simply your time. Local facilities need items like: Clorox, Fabuloso, sack lunch foods, fruit cups, plates, and more.
Bring donations to Strauss Hall 208 located at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. If you would like to get more involved, a group of volunteers are meeting 9 AM Monday at the same location. This group will leave campus by 9:30 AM for Delta Community College. Once there, volunteers will help in sorting, packaging, and loading donations. When everythng is ready, all are invited to caravan to the Community Soup Kitchen for delivery.
All who participate can expet to be done no later than 12 PM.
