Flavorful dishes and tasty treats are a highlight of the 18th annual "Blend Of The Bayou".

Men who cook and men who mix provide a tempting menu and refreshing cocktails in the benefit for the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council.  "It's looking like one of the most varied menus we've ever had," said NLAC President Tommy Usrey.  Cornbread-stuffed pork loin, a "Not Your Childhood" grilled cheese, homemade breads, and apricot tarts, are just a few of the delicious selections you'll find.  A special addition this year from Bob Stratton and crew is the memorable, L.C. Scally's salad.

A silent auction with works from local artists is presented in front of the Sartor residence on Island Drive, where the event is held.  Guests enjoy live entertainment by the Mason Granade Band.
