Three widows who regularly gather a a cemetery to grieve over their late husbands form a unique friendship. As they try to move on, differences of opinion begin to divide them.

The story becomes even more fascinating when the issue of dating enters the picture as Strauss Theatre Center presents The Cemetery Club.

Barbara Knight is in the role of Lucille.  "She's fiesty, bold, brassy, and bossy," Knight says of her character.  "The three women have very different ideals when it comes to living after the deaths of their husbands."

Eileen Kontrovitz, in her Strauss debut, plays Doris.  "She doesn't want to let go of what she had.  She's very critical of the other two when it comes to dating."

The play culminates when the three attend the wedding of a friend.

Brenda Rowan directs The Cemetery Club, which runs November 13-15, and November 20 & 21.  Information at: strausstheatrecenter.com
