Four local artists share on the inspiration and creative thought behind their current exhibits at Masur Museum of Art.

Emily Caldwell's collection,  Naturally, give guests a unique view of the area's habitat.  Works from Tom Chloe, Frank Hamrick, and Cliff Tresner in Maker's Marks share a story by the pieces that make up the exhibit.

Masur Director Evie Stewart says the Caldwell presents an artist talk Thursday.  "Her work is beautiful.  She does nature scenes from memory and photos from trips and kayaking in area refuges."

Next Tuesday, the artists behind Maker's Marks share in a panel discussion on the exhibit.  "Their work showcases the creative process, the generative process.  Everything is clearly handmade," says Ben Hickey, curator at Masur Museum.

Both events are free of charge and open to the public.
