The Monroe Symphony Orchestra performs it's holiday "Sounds Of The Seasons" concert Sunday at the West Monroe Convention Center.  Festivities begin at 2 p.m. with pianist Julian Jones performing holiday favorites in the center's lobby.  MSO President of the Board of Governors Charles Jackson says this year's event features traditional and secular pieces, and the Monroe Symphony Chorus joining the celebration in a collection of sing-along carols with the audience.

The concert begins promptly at 3 p.m., as the overture from the holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street, opens the program.  A raffle drawing selects a guest conductor for Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" in the afternoon concert.  Jackson says to expect a visit from Santa Claus as the orchestra and audience celebrate the season.
