The city of West Monroe will host a swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, June 21 for Mayor Staci Mitchell and the members of the West Monroe Board of Aldermen.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of West Monroe City Hall at 2305 N. 7th Street. The public is invited to attend.
Mayor Staci Mitchell and the five members of the Board of Aldermen will officially begin their new term in office on July 1, 2022. This will mark mayor Mitchell's second term as mayor of the City of West Monroe. The members of the West Monroe Board of Aldermen are Thom Hamilton, Alderman at Large; Ben Westerburg, Alderman at Large; Morgan Buxton, District One; James "Polk" Brian. District Two; Rodney Welch, District Three.
