ULM hosts Super Warhawk Weekend

The University of Louisiana Monroe presents the excitement-filled Super Warhawk Weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 8 through 10.

Super Warhawk Weekend features outstanding athletic competition, four free youth clinics, and family-friendly activities.

All information about Super Warhawk Weekend, including how to purchase softball and baseball tickets in advance, register for the free youth clinics, reserve seats at the La Louisianne Crawfish Boil, and a detailed schedule is at ulm.edu/super.

Warhawks Athletics takes center stage during Super Warhawk Weekend with ULM baseball and ULM softball games on all three days. Tennis matches will be in Heard Stadium. The annual Spring Football Game is 6 p.m. on Saturday at Malone Stadium.

ULM students with ID are admitted free to all games.

Warhawks softball games are at the ULM Softball Complex on Warhawk Way. General admission is $5.

Warhawks baseball matches are in Warhawk Field, behind Malone Stadium. Stadium club seating is $25, reserved tickets are $10, general admission is $5, and youth (ages 4-12) are $3.

Tickets are available at the main entrance.

On Friday, April 8, ULM softball plays Texas State at 6 p.m. The ULM baseball team plays Troy at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, April 9, the ULM tennis team is playing UT Arlington at 10 a.m. in Heard Stadium. Admission is free.

The ULM softball team is playing Texas State at 1 p.m. ULM baseball is playing Troy at 2 p.m.

ULM is offering four free youth clinics for ages 8 to 12 in football, art, band, and cheer. All clinics are from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The ULM coaching staff and players host the Youth Football Clinic in Malone Stadium. Girls and boys, ages 8 to 12 are invited. Preregistration is required at ULM Youth Football Clinic. The clinic is limited to 200 participants.

The clinic covers football fundamentals. No gear is required. The clinic ends with an autograph session with Coach Terry Bowden and the team.

Associate Professor of Art Brooke Foy will lead the Art Clinic. ULM Assistant Professor of Music and Director of The Sound of Today Marching Band Dr. Allen Parrish will lead the Band Clinic. The ULM Cheer Team will lead the Cheer Clinic, and participants will perform at halftime during the Spring Football Game.

The Art and Band clinics will be in the ULM Activity Center and the Cheer Clinic in Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

The La Louisianne Crawfish Boil is hosted by the ULM Alumni Association from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the South End Zone of Malone Stadium before the spring football game.

Tickets are $35 for the community (kids under 12 eat free), $30 for active alumni, and $25 for faculty, staff, and students. Discount codes for crawfish are available by calling 318-342-5420. One ticket includes 7 lbs. of crawfish and two drinks.

Free tailgating for faculty and staff starts at 4 p.m. at the South End Zone. Registration is available at https://mybitly.ulm.edu/36Z4jYL. ULM ID required.

At 5 p.m., Ace the Warhawk will be in the Ace Mobile at the Northeast End Zone for fun photo ops with kids of all ages.

The Spring Football Game kickoff is at 6 p.m. in Malone Stadium. The stadium gates will open at 4 p.m. Admission is free, and Warhawk fans are invited to have an early look at the 2022 Warhawks in action. Concessions will be available.

On Sunday, April 10, ULM tennis plays Texas State at 10 a.m. ULM softball plays Texas State at noon. ULM baseball plays Troy at1 p.m.
