Monroe Symphony Orchestra set to open 52nd season with 'A Hungarian Rhapsody'

The Monroe Symphony Orchestra has announced the beginning of their 52nd season, Music Fills the Heart, and released the schedule with times, dates, and a list of each performance. This new season will feature shows that will be held from October 14, 2023 until April 27, 2024.

Lagniappe: Monroe Symphony -A Hungarian Rhapsody

Starting off the sequence of performances featuring Interim Music Director, Phillip Mann, the orchestra will present Elias Goldstein. Who will be opening the season with its first show, A Hungarian Rhapsody. This show will take place on Saturday, October 14 at Church of the Redeemer, 715 Cypress Street West Monroe, LA 71291 from 7p.m. until 8:30p.m

  • Firebird - (Philip Mann, conductor | Richard Seiler, pianist) - February 17, 2024 - 7:00pm - Brown Auditorium, ULM
  • MSO Pops presents "Three Phantoms in Concert" - (Philip Mann, conductor | Keith Buterbaugh, Gary Mauer & Craig Schulman, soloists) - April 27, 2024 - 7:00pm - Monroe Civic Center Arena
  • Magnificent Mozart & Vibrant Weber - November 9, 2023 - 7:00pm - Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall
  • Baroque's Grandmaster: J.S. Bach - January 25, 2024 - 7:00pm - Grace Episcopal Church
