Lagniappe: Monroe Symphony League Book Fair

The Symphony League Book Sale consists of gently used books, magazines, and more. Two buildings are full of hardbacks, magazines, paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction. Many books and magazines priced 25-50 cents. Also included are records, CDs, DVDs, sheet music, gently used household items, and much more.

The first weekend of the sale will be Saturday, October 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A $2 charge will be applies for adults on the first day only.

The second weekend will begin Friday, October 13 and end Saturday, October 14. The hours for both days are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
