Sometimes You're Not Insured For Disaster

KEDM's Policy and a Pint will delve into disaster at Miro's on Tuesday night. At 6 p.m. our open public forum will talk about recent disasters and how to prepare. Ron Bush from State Farm Insurance will address some of the most common issues that people face after a disaster and how you can better prepare beforehand. 

The event will begin with a "meet and greet" at 5:30 p.m. and the "LIVE" radio event begins at 6 p.m. at Miro's, 201 Walnot Street in Monroe. 

Panelists include: Neal Brown - Governor's Office of Homeland Security, Jannet Durden - United Way of Northeast Louisiana, and Ron Bush - State Farm Insurance. The event will be moderated by KEDM News Director Cory Crowe.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer.
