The Louisiana Delta Ballet is presenting Power & Grace, The Easter Celebration, Palm Sunday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center Theater.

Power & Grace tells the story of Easter through dance and music. "Most of the performance is through the dancers and their interpretation of the music, as well as lighting and costumes," says Jeanine Patton, the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Louisiana Delta Ballet. "You are watching that person on stage dance, and you literally feel the emotion as if you were right there with them."

The performance is presented on a nearly bare stage, allowing instead the dancers to express the message. "It's a very simple set, but it's very intense," says Patton.

Power & Grace, The Easter Celebration, is Palm Sunday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center Theater. More information and tickets are available here.
