KCS "Holiday Express" Chugs Into Downtown Monroe

Rudy leads the KCS Train to Monroe.

The Kansas City Southern Holiday Express is coming to town November 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the 200 block of North Third Street. 

The Holiday Express is a festive six car train that spreads holiday cheer to communities. The train features a smiling tank car named Rudy, a flat car carrying Santa's sleigh reindeer and a miniature village. The train also features a gingerbread boxcar; the elves workshop;  a reindeer stable and a little red caboose. 

Guest can walk through three cars filled with holiday displays and visit with Santa Claus and his elves.

The event is free to enter but there are opportunities to shop from vendors and purchase food and drinks.
