Read. Learn. Succeed. from the United Way of Northeast Louisiana is a community outreach in which  volunteers from the community donate thirty minutes a week to read to second and third graders in local school systems.

Now in its third year, the reading campaign has expanded to four school districts.

"Research shows us a student who does not know how to read by the third grade is four times more likely to fail to graduate. We're confident this program offers a great return on our investment," says Michelle Saucer, program director.

Read, Learn, Succeed is now accepting single volunteers and teams of volunteers.
