Looking for the perfect read this summer?  Book enthusiasts find the answer in the Monroe Symphony League Book Fair.  Shelves full of paperbacks, hardbacks, and large-print editions are available beginning Saturday.

MSL member Jorenda Stone shares that topics cover a great variety of interests.  "Romance, fiction, and cookbooks are always popular favorites," she said.  "This is a perfect time to grab a few reads for the weekend or a trip to the beach."

Fellow MSL member Scott Leegan says series collectors will find generous offerings in a World War II set, and other military history sets.  "Just a few weeks ago, we had a donation of five boxes of the WWII set.  It is an impressive collection that war and history buffs will enjoy," said Leegan.

There is a $2 first day fee for adults attending the fair.  The book fair opens Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.  It reopens the following weekend on Friday, June 12 through SUnday, June 14.  The MSL Book Room is located on North 4th St. at Pine St, in Monroe.
