Enjoy a break from the office each Wednesday in October, as the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council presents the Fall Brown Bag Series Concerts.
Performances are at noon at Anna Gray Noe Park in downtown Monroe.
The series gets underway October 7 with Louisiana legend Doug Duffey. "He's in the Louisiana Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall as well," says NLAC member Georgia Street.
Other concert performers include the Rod Allen Payne Trio on October 14; Bradley Bridges on October 21; and Josh Madden on October 28.

Guests are welcome to bring their lunch and picnic blanket or chairs. Some seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Lemonade and water are provided at the event. The concert is free and open to the public.
