A relaxing summer social, Pork And Pearls, welcome guests in a benefit for the Monroe Symphony Orchestra.

"It's a casual event where we're widening the audience of the orchestra," says MSO board member Graham Abell.  "It's a chance to find out about the variety of programs presented throughout the season."

The menu of pulled pork and grilled oysters is prepared by Chef Cory Bahr.  Music provided by Code Blue and the Flatliners.

The event is Friday, May 29th at 7:30 p.m., at the Gallagher residence in Monroe.  Information at www.monroesymphonyorchestra.com.
