Michael Parker's laugh-riot involves two men trying to fool their new female boss into thinking that their wives are indeed with them on what they had intended to be a totally innocent weekend of golfing. Impersonation seems to work for a short time, but everything falls apart as the wives, who have been shopping in New York, show up.

Ticket prices are $15 Student 4-up to college, $30 All Adults

The Lifespan of a Fact has two remaining performances at Lea's of Lecompte in Monroe, presented by CA Studio. 

NPR describes the non-fiction book that inspired the play as "the most improbably entertaining book ever published."

The play, Steel Magnolias, is being performed this weekend at Bastrop's historic Rose Theatre on 102 E Jefferson Ave. There will be three showings on Oct. 11, 12, and 13. The first two performances will begin at 7 p.m, and the Sunday performance will be a matinee that kicks off at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $20 per person.
