Starr Homeplace Heritage and Creativity Center is set to host a Community Day on Saturday, September 10.

The event will feature a blacksmith working in the Starr Homeplace workshop. A boat builder will be on hand to work on projects and period fur traders will make and appearance at the event.

Director of Starr Homeplace, Joe Rolfe says, "A model of the Hindenburg may fly over the homeplace this weekend". He says the event is a family oriented affair and visitors will learn about the agricultural heritage of the area.
