Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards and Epic Piping CEO Remi Bonnecaze announced the company will establish a 40,000-square-foot pipe supports fabrication facility in Lake Providence, Louisiana. The new facility will feature custom milling and fitting shops and onsite structural welding areas that will generate pipe support materials for Epic Piping’s global customer base.

Vandalism arrest made in Farmerville

An arrest has been made in Farmerville after an adult and some youths allegedly vandalized old Farmerville High School. There are 10 people ages 12-17 who are suspected of spraying fire extinguishers and causing damages throughout the unused building.

The campus insist on reopening and naming it LA Delta Community College.  

Groundbreaking season for LDCC

Monroe-Louisiana Delta Community College is breaking ground on its Tallulah Campus. The main building will be getting an expansion. Currently, the main building stands at 30,727 sq. ft. The new addition will ad 6,767 sq ft, totaling out at 37,494 sq ft. The cost of the new addition is $2.5 million from the state plus $465,031 is the local match. 

Special Showing of "Starving the Beast" at ULM

The University of Louisiana Monroe, in collaboration with Grambling State University, Louisiana Delta Community College, and Louisiana Tech University is hosting a special screening of the upcoming documentary, “Starving the Beast: The Battle to Disrupt and Reform America’s Public Universities” in Biedenharn Recital Hall Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. 

ULM, Delta Strengthen Ties

  The University of Louisiana at Monroe and Louisiana Delta Community College signed a second Memorandum of Understanding in as many weeks.  The new agreement gives greater access to educational resources for both campuses.
