Liberty Bash brings makers and music to downtown Monroe

The first Liberty Bash and second annual Pub Crawl will be held on Saturday, July 2 beginning at 11 a.m. at La Bella, at 231 Desiard Street in Monroe.

The Liberty Bash will start off with a Creators Gallery at the Palace and Palace Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will include over 40 vendors, live music, jujitsu, and food trucks.

This event is free to the public.

Beginning at 4 p.m., the Pub Crawl will start at La Bella. The route will weave through downtown Monroe, ending at Downtown Billiards. Twelves restaurants and bars are a part of this crawl. "At the end, you'll meet us at Downtown Billiards, and we will have a bunch of swag, giveaways, and prizes that you'll be entered to win," said Dustin Underwood, owner of La Bella.

The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. at the river.
