The ULM Softball Team is hosting the second annual Hang Out With The Hawks on the evening of Saturday, January 18 at ULM's Bayou Pointe Event Center. The doors are set to open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 5:45 p.m. The event includes multiple rounds of trivia, a live benefit auction, and several cash games.
The night will begin by dividing the trivia teams into tables of eight. Then, there will be five games of trivia with prizes given at the end of each round. At the end, the team will host a small auction including exclusive items and ULM merchandise.
Throughout the night, there will also be a chance to meet this year's softball team. Head coach Molly Fichtner says, "This event will be the perfect opportunity for guests to build personal relationships with ULM softball players and coaching staff."
To reserve tickets, guests can visit the Warhawk Club website. Individual tickets are $40 per person, and a table of eight is $300. According to Fichtner, all proceeds from the event will go towards a new speaker system for the softball stadium.
She explains, "We really want to get a new speaker system for the field. Before, the speakers went right on the stands, and we want the fans to have a great time by listening to music without it blaring in their ears."
