Suspect In Homicide May Be At Large In Lincoln Parish

Johnny Ray Wilson is wanted by police in Mississippi in connection to a homicide.

During the pre-dawn hours of Thursday, July 6, 2017, deputies with the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Department recovered a stolen 2001 Ford Taurus, gold in color that was earlier involved in a homicide in Jackson, MS. This vehicle, which was owned by the victim of the homicide, was recovered in the area of US 80 at Peachland Trailer Park. 

Johnny Ray Wilson is wanted by the Jackson Mississippi Police Department in connection to this homicide. Wilson is described as a B/M, 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds and was operating the vehicle at in which it (vehicle) was abandoned in Lincoln Parish. 

Anyone with information concerning Wilson’s whereabouts are asked to contact Ruston / Lincoln Crimestoppers at 318-255-1111. Crimestoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for information leading to this suspect’s arrest. Wilson should be considered dangerous, do not approach. Please call 911 if spotted. Lincoln Parish investigators have no specific information that suggests that Wilson is still currently located in the area. This release is going out as an abundance of caution to the public.
