The holidays hold many memories.  In light of losing a loved one, the season can bring depression or overwhelming emotion in remembering such loss.

Griefshare, a local support group, hosts a video presentation and discussion on Saturday, November 21st at 6 p.m., at Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ.  Griefshare member Carol Ogle says the session is welcome to anyone who has lost a loved one.  "Grief doesn't necessarily go away after a year or two, and the holidays have a tendency to make the situation worse," she said.

The video includes experts and professionals talking about the grieving process and specifically about coping techniques when among family or co-workers for holiday gatherings.  Ogle says a discussion follows the video, where participants can share about their own experience.

Refreshments are provided, and the program is free and open to the public.
