Saturday, July 27, is a busy day for Loretta Crow-Seymour, with two different community events taking place. From 9 to 11 a.m., Horse Assisted Therapy Services will be hosting a Barn Show in Calhoun. This Barn Show will give riders the opportunity to show the skills they have learned, there will be a silent auction, and a T-shirt sale.
Proceeds will go towards helping families put their loved ones through the HATS program.

The second event of the weekend is the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Survivor Luncheon. For this second event Loretta Crow-Seymour has partnered with Kalaia Cares, a beauty line specifically for people that have suffered skin damage due to cancer treatments. This luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cottons.

Founder of Kalaia Cares, Gaya Samarasingha, will be the guest speaker of this event. Loretta urges survivors to reach out to their local Susan G Komen department to receive their complimentary ticket to this luncheon. Gaya Samarasingha founded Kahlaia Cares, not only for the skincare, but also to help rising women entrepreneurs. For more information on this luncheon visit www.SusanGKomen.org
