The Northeast Louisiana Master Gardeners Association is partnering with St. Paschal Catholic Church to combine their events. The 28th annual St. Paschal Herbal Herbal Harvest Arts and Crafts Festival and the Master Gardeners' fall bulb and plant sale will be this Saturday, Oct. 19, at the West Monroe Convention Center.

Guests can do everything from shopping for beautiful plants at the festival to learning how to cook with herbs with the Master Gardeners. The event is free to the public and will be from 9 am - 4 pm.

This year's Herbal Arts and Crafts Festival will have more than 50 indoor booths selling artisan crafts and delicious food like herbed chicken salad, taco soup, grilled sausage, and homemade baked sweet goods.

Shelly Schmidt, a representative of St. Paschals, is looking forward to the diverse selection of crafts being sold at the festival. She says, "They will be selling everything from floral designs to pottery and even homemade projects like woodcraft and stained glass."

The Fall Bulb and Plant Sale will also be selling a variety of herbs and other plants that are especially chosen for our Southern climate. During the sale, the Master Gardeners will be giving presentations, answering questions, and helping customers with their plant selection.
