St. Francis Medical Center has announced they will combine services from St. Francis Medical Center- North , located on Highway 165 North in Monroe to other locations.
On November 1. The North Campus office , out patient facility will be closed.
Kristin Wolkart, St. Francis Medical Center President and CEO says, " We simply can’t afford to provide primary access from two acute care locations. While we receive some of the lowest Medicaid and uncompensated care reimbursement"
Some Consolidations will include the movement of the emergency room , the Tobacco Cessation Services , the Kitty DeGree Breast Health Center , and the lab and radiology services.
Wollhart says "Consolidating our services fortifies our health... and is the best decision for our community and patients"
