Spread The Love Peanut Butter Drive

The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana is kicking off their 3rd annual area-wide peanut butter drive to benefit children, families and seniors who face hunger in Northeast Louisiana. Hunger is a big issue in our community, with over 71,000 people in NELA struggling to put food on the table for their families. Peanut butter is a much needed staple as it is a protein-packed food that kids love.

Members of the community are encouraged to donate peanut butter in plastic jars or funds to the Food Bank by Friday, March 29th at 3:00 pm. Donations of peanut butter can be dropped off at the Food Bank’s distribution center located at 4600 Central Avenue in Monroe during the hours of 8-3:30 Monday – Friday. Monetary donations can be made by calling 318-322-3567. For more information visit https://www.foodbanknela.org/

Drop off locations include:

Blue Sky Yoga – 1125 Forsythe Ave, Monroe,

Magic Grill – 2500 Arkansas Rd, West Monroe,

Blue Sky Yoga – 212 West Mississippi, Ruston,

Danni Jones Physical Therapy – 108 N. Monroe St, Ruston.

Please keep in mind that plastic jars are more durable than glass jars and are much appreciated.
