Severe Weather Expected Saturday April 13

Severe weather is in the forcast for the KEDM listening area today. The National Weather Service is predicting the the worst of the storms could produce tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, and flash flooding.  The timing suggests that the afternoon and early evening hours will be the worst. 

The weather service ranks storm potential on a 1 to 5 scale. Saturday's system is ranked 4 out of 5 for potential. The storm could produce damaging winds up to 80 m.p.h., hail up to golf ball size, and tornadoes are likely.
