OPSO Deputies Arrest Suspect in Calhoun Burglary Investigation

An arrest has been made in a recent burglary in Calhoun. The investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies into an attempted burglary, trespassing and unauthorized use of a vehicle occurring March 13, 2019 on Garland Gin Road in Calhoun has led to the arrest of a Downsville resident.

Thomas Oliver Hamilton, age 29 of Downsville, has been arrested and booked in OCC on one count of Simple Burglary of a Vehicle, one count of Attempted Simple Burglary, one count of Unauthorized Use of a Movable and one count of Simple Trespass.

The investigation is continuing.
