Thursday July 20th, the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens will be holding it's annual summer event, Moonlight in the Gardens. July's Moonlight will feature Jazz, the Bible Museum, the Coke Museum and Store, a look into the gardens, and the always popular Coke Floats. Moonlight will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ralph Calhoun, director of the museum, shares that, "Guest get the opportunity to see the gardens, literally, in a different light." Moonlight in the Gardens is one of the only opportunities visitors have to see the gardens at night.
To get out of the heat after enjoying the gardens, the Mason Howard Quartet will be performing Jazz music in the Fountain Room from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m The Bible Museum will also be open. Along with the permanent pieces the Bible Museum holds, including a page from the Gutenberg Bible and examples of the first two Bibles printed in America, there will also be a 'God in the Garden' exhibit of impressionistic paintings by Henrietta Milan. After making their way through the Bible Museum, guests can head down the street and visit the Coke Museum and Museum Store. The Museum Store will be having a sale, so visitors are encouraged to stop by. Visitors can end the night back at the gardens to enjoy a coke float, with vanilla ice cream provided by the Creamery.
