Living Well Shares Success over the Year

Living Well Foundation
Living Well recieved its name in 2010, and was previously known as the Ward Five Healthcare Foundation.

Tuesday, March 7, the Living Well Foundation will be holding it's annual Update to the Community Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center.

The Living Well Foundation was created through the sale of Glenwood Regional Medical Center in 2006. The proceeds of the sale were invested, and the Living Well uses the interest of this money to serve the community through providing grants and starting initiatives.

The luncheon will help update the community on all that the Living Well has been investing in this year. This includes its involvement with the University of Louisiana Monroe Dental Hygiene Clinic and the Autism Center at ULM. Speakers at the luncheon will also share on how certain grants have helped to start school-based health clinics, such as the ones at West Monroe High School and Riser Middle School, and how other investments have gone to support medical and behavior development in the area through non-profit organizations.

For information on the luncheon  or to get tickets call 318-325-1961 to speak to the West Monroe West Ouachtia Chamber of Commerce or 318-396-5066 to speak to the Living Well Foundation.
