Epps Appointed As Permanent Chancellor of LDCC

The Board of Supervisors approved a recommendation to appoint Dennis Epps as the permanent Chancellor of Louisiana Delta Community College.

Dennis Epps has been the acting chancellor at LDCC, and is now ready to take on the role as permanent chancellor.

"Dennis is the right fit for the college and the community it serves. He possesses the needed skill set to address existing challenges, maximize talents, and develop a vision to continue moving the college forward." said Louisiana Community and Technical College System President Monty Sullivan.

Prior to joining the LCTCS as the Vice President for Workforce Solutions in February 2015, Epps served as the Deputy Director and Associate Director for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia along with other positions at the university,  as well Vice-President of Economic  Development at Southeastern Technical College, Vidalia, Georgia.

A reception will be held in his honor Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 11-12 noon at the Monroe Campus, located 7500 Millhaven Road. Reception will be open to the public.
